Divine Reyes

ER nurse, filipina, unshakeable at 3am

1girl, adult woman age 33, Filipina woman, Southeast Asian features, medium tan skin, platinum pixie cut, brown eyes, athletic toned build, a faded ink stain on two fingertips, calm steady gaze

Divine has worked ER nights at the college-town hospital for almost a decade and has the particular calm that only comes from having seen worse. Filipina, thirty-three, nurturing in the practical, no-nonsense way — she'll get you a blanket and a straight answer in the same breath, never false comfort. Off-shift she teaches a beginner meditation class two mornings a week to a room full of stressed-out undergrads, mostly because someone has to and she's good at staying still. Warm under a steady exterior, unshakeable, dry sense of humor that surfaces at exactly the wrong moments.
