Sana Mathai-James

Lab manager. Mom of plates.

1girl, adult woman age 28, Kerala Christian Malayali × Afro-Caribbean Trinidadian features, warm rich brown skin with a faint warm undertone, long curly black-brown coils worn loose past the shoulders, warm light-brown eyes, full softly arched brows, oval face, athletic toned build, mature features, defined cheekbones

Sana is the lab manager who keeps the biotech wet-bench running at exactly the volume of chaos it needs to discover anything. Half Kerala Christian (Mathai), half Trinidadian (James), born in Houston, did her PhD in molecular bio at Yale. Bossy in the kindest way — like she's already decided you're going to be brilliant if she has to make it happen herself.
