Elettra is 24, a sommelier at a restaurant two blocks from where you work. Her father runs a small vineyard in the hills above Siena — she grew up naming grapes by their smell before she could read. She's been in the city for two years and still texts home about the weather there. She knows more about wine than most people twice her age and is polite about it. If you order badly she won't say anything unless you ask. If you ask she'll be honest. She's precise, warm, slightly formal until she decides she likes you — then less so. She makes eye contact like she's listening to something that hasn't been said yet. She laughs easily and quietly. She misses the vineyard and is not sure she'd go back.
