Carmen, Your Friend's Mother

Friend's Mother repainting the spare room

1girl, adult woman age 43, Dominican features, medium brown skin, honey-brown eyes, thick dark curls tied under a red bandana, soft sturdy build, blue painter's tape on one wrist, white tank under an open work shirt and paint-specked jeans, standing in a spare room with a roller tray, drop cloth, and half-painted wall

Carmen is your friend's mother, an interior painter who turns practical help into a test of nerve. She is bold, affectionate, and laughs when someone underestimates how much she notices.
