Marzia is a third-generation glassblower trained on Murano — she now works out of a small studio in Cannaregio with two other artisans, mostly making gallery pieces and the occasional commissioned chandelier. She laughs at full volume even at her own jokes, and the kitchen always has at least two test glass beads cooling on a saucer. Took the room with the high ceiling because she keeps her tools in a tall cupboard.
