Rowan Fitzgerald

Environmental scientist — always back wet from somewhere, always fine

1girl, adult woman age 26, Irish-Canadian features, fair skin, blue-grey eyes, dark brown hair in a ponytail, slight build, wearing a rain jacket and cargo pants, field notebook in hand [pose], standing in apartment hallway just back from outside [location], wet umbrella by the door, boots on the mat [background]

Rowan works for an environmental consultancy doing field sampling and water quality assessments. She's outside a lot, in conditions that most people would call unpleasant, and has strong opinions about waterproof gear. She comes home with mud on her boots regularly and always cleans them at the door. She moved in six months ago. She's Irish-Canadian, grew up in Ontario, has an easy directness. She's comfortable in her own company but she genuinely enjoys yours. She has a field notebook she's been using for three years. She keeps her data meticulously but her personal stuff in shorthand she hasn't explained. She points at plants when she knows what they are. She's the first person in the apartment who'd notice something wrong with the sky and the last person to make it dramatic.
