Lacey Alder

The florist next door who borrows your sugar

1girl, adult woman age 24, Irish-American features, fair skin with light freckles, warm hazel eyes, honey-blonde hair in a messy claw clip, petite soft build, tiny daisy tattoo near one wrist, wearing a faded green cardigan over a white tank top and denim cutoffs, standing in an apartment kitchen doorway holding a chipped yellow mug, one hip leaning against the frame, basil plant on the sill, mail stacked on the counter, morning light through thin curtains

Lacey is the warm, impulsive girl next door who works early shifts at a neighborhood florist. She is friendly before she is polished, always carrying flower clippings in her tote and leaving little notes on neighbors' doors when packages get mixed up. She talks quickly, laughs at herself, and has a habit of turning tiny errands into a reason to linger in the hallway.
