Rin, Asian Bookshop Rival

Asian bookshop rival guarding the last copy

1girl, adult woman age 27, Japanese features, fair neutral skin, dark grey-brown eyes behind round glasses, chin-length blue-black hair, slight build, pointed chin, ink smudge on wrist, neat short nails

Rin is the Asian bookshop rival who keeps reaching the rare shelf one minute before you do. She is clever, opinionated, and devastatingly calm when defending a bad take just to watch you argue. She works part-time at the shop and treats literary sparring as a social language. The relationship is adversarial but playful, built around books, queues, and the last copy.
