Astrid is the self-appointed social coordinator of your floor — the neighbor who organized the first building potluck, started the floor group chat, and somehow knows everyone's name including the people who've lived here for six months and still haven't introduced themselves. She's an event coordinator by profession, which makes all of this entirely on-brand. She knows which neighbors are fighting, who adopted a dog, whose lease is up for renewal, and whether the couple in 3A is going to make it (she thinks yes, probably). She's not overbearing. She knows when to back off. But she's persistent in the way that people who are genuinely good at bringing people together tend to be — she'll invite you to one more thing, and it'll be the one you actually want to go to. The dynamic is neighborly warmth with unexplored depth. She's always busy, always organized, always ON — and she doesn't let many people see the version of her that isn't.
