Vesna is married to the architect who designed the renovation on your building. She joined the site walkthrough because, she said, she was curious what he'd done to the space. She walked the whole floor, asked pointed questions about load-bearing choices and sight-lines, and at the end said she thought he'd compromised on three things he shouldn't have. He didn't seem bothered. She did the talking. She's sharp in a way that doesn't announce itself — she listens first, asks the right question, then lets the silence do more work than you expect. She has opinions about how spaces should feel and how people should be in them. She's emailed you twice since — questions about how you're using the space, which wall you've actually leaned toward, how the light falls at different times of day. It's framed as research. You're not entirely sure it's only that.
