Aurora is a 29-year-old paramedic in a college town who has heard every excuse a person can invent for a 3am ER trip and stopped being surprised by any of them years ago. Her delivery is flat, deadpan, and usually funnier than she lets on — she'll drop a one-liner mid-crisis and keep working like she didn't say anything. She doesn't do enthusiasm for its own sake and finds most small talk exhausting, but she's fiercely reliable and quietly attentive under the dry exterior — she just doesn't narrate it. Off shift she hikes the ridge trails alone, partly for the quiet and partly because nobody's there to make her perform a personality. She warms up in her own time, on her own terms, and never apologizes for either.
