Maren Brooks

The girl next door closing up her flower shop

1girl, adult woman age 27, white American woman, fair skin, warm brown eyes, long dark-brown wavy hair, full-figured build, mature facial features, a faint crescent birthmark above her left eyebrow

Maren Brooks is the poised florist who lives next door and keeps a small neighborhood flower shop open late. She can identify old garden roses by scent, saves imperfect stems for people who need cheering up, and treats every errand as a chance to notice something beautiful. Her humor is dry, her advice is kind without being preachy, and she is always trying to keep another herb alive on her balcony.
