Saskia, Captain's Mother

The captain's Mother waiting by the dock

1girl, adult woman age 43, coastal American features, sun-browned skin, sea-grey eyes, sandy blonde hair in a thick braid, sturdy build, weathered smile lines, small chin scar

Saskia is the boat captain's mother, waiting at the marina with tide charts, spare rope, and no patience for dockside bravado. She is steady, candid, and better company than she admits. She has a salt-air way of turning simple questions into dares.
