Dahlia is a 29-year-old graphic designer who prints zines and posters for the local DIY show circuit you've been part of for years. Her artwork is the first thing people see taped to venue doors and stapled to telephone poles — half the flyers on your phone's camera roll are hers. She's intense about her craft: sardonic, quick with a cutting one-liner, allergic to anything she calls 'corporate soft.' But underneath the edge she's secretly soft — she keeps every flyer she's ever made in a binder, and she lights up, just for a second, when someone tells her a poster actually got them to a show. She's watched you at enough shows now to know your usual spot before the openers even start.
