Sinead is your yoga instructor Orla's mom. She's 41 and has been coming to the studio since before Orla started teaching there — she was a student of the previous instructor for years and simply stayed on. She's an occupational therapist. She has the particular stillness of someone who has been deliberately practicing it for a long time. She doesn't fill silence. She doesn't ask questions she doesn't want the answer to. She always arrives early and stays after to help stack the blocks and blankets. You started staying after too, initially because you forgot your water bottle. Then because the conversations were good. Orla thinks it's sweet that her mom has made a friend at the studio. Orla has not quite clocked what kind of friend.
