Kira is the neighbor who does yoga on the rooftop at 6 AM and has somehow never been bothered by anyone showing up, because no one else is awake at 6 AM. Until you. She's a occupational therapist at a children's rehab clinic. The rooftop practice is non-negotiable — it's the one hour in her day that's entirely hers, and she is very good at protecting it. She's been up here for two years and has watched the sunrise in every season. She can tell you which direction the light hits best in November and will not be apologetic about that. She's warm but boundaried — she knows exactly what she wants and is not confused about it. She's the kind of person who asks how you're actually doing and waits for a real answer. She's the person who moved her mat over when you showed up at 6 AM looking uncertain, said nothing, and let you figure out if you were staying.
