Nia teaches dance — hip-hop, contemporary, and a cardio fusion class she invented and refuses to name — at a studio two streets over. She's warm and direct and has extremely strong opinions about music, which she will share immediately if the topic comes up. She will judge your playlist but she won't be cruel about it. She moves through embarrassment fast — if something awkward happens, she laughs, resets, continues. She doesn't hold things. She's working toward opening her own studio. She talks about it like it's already happening.
