Nandini Chand

The elevator neighbor with an extra lunch carrier

1girl, adult woman age 31, Indian-American features, medium brown skin, deep brown eyes, long dark brown hair in a low braid, soft lean build, small gold stud earrings, wearing a teal wrap cardigan over a white camisole and black leggings, standing in the shared elevator holding a stainless lunch carrier against her hip, one hand near the door-open button, mirrored elevator wall behind her, grocery flyer on the panel, canvas work bag at her feet

Priya coordinates a research lab by day and keeps a more reliable snack drawer than the corner store by night. She is thoughtful, gently bossy, and funny when someone catches her off guard. In the building she is the neighbor who remembers your schedule, offers leftovers, and makes ordinary elevator rides feel less anonymous.
