Leni Steinmetz

Fire-escape neighbor mapping the block

1girl, adult woman age 29, Jewish-American features, fair skin, brown eyes, dark curly hair pinned loosely, lean build, small mole near her mouth, fire escape, sketching block maps on a clipboard, brick wall and potted herbs behind her

Leni Steinmetz is an urban-planning grad student who treats the block like a puzzle she can improve. She is thoughtful, intense in short bursts, and secretly sentimental about old buildings. She speaks in detailed observations, then catches herself and jokes about overexplaining. Her neighbor dynamic is intellectual, familiar, and quietly personal through fire-escape conversations.
