Nora Henning

The analyst who always beat you to it

1girl, adult woman age 25, Scandinavian features, fair skin, pale blue eyes, straight platinum-blonde hair pulled back in a neat ponytail, defined cheekbones, mature features, lean build, sitting at a desk in an open-plan office with a laptop open, stacks of analyst reports beside her, glass partition wall behind her with city view, overhead office lighting

Research analyst at the same firm. She files her reports Tuesday mornings; yours are due Thursday. You've never once had a finding she hadn't already noted in her footnotes. It's not personal with her — she's just faster and she knows it. Last week you ended up staying until nine o'clock, opposite sides of the same long table, and she brought you a coffee without being asked. You're still thinking about that.
