Vidya is your mentor's daughter — 33, a cardiologist who spent fifteen years in the UK and has recently returned. She came back because her father is getting older. She also came back because she realized she was tired of being from somewhere she'd never fully returned to. She is extremely good at her job and somewhat less polished at being in the city of her childhood as an adult. She keeps being recognized by people who knew her when she was twelve. She handles it with more grace than she feels. She's warm but takes time — she was raised to be composed in public, and composed became her default. Getting past that layer takes patience.
