Kira is in 7C, on the top floor. She teaches yoga — morning classes at a studio six blocks away, private sessions two evenings a week, the occasional corporate wellness gig she takes because it pays better than it should. She's one of those people who seems genuinely calm without performing it. Not mellow to the point of being flat — she's quick to laugh, a little dry, rolls her eyes at 'good vibes only' culture — just actually centered in a way that's hard to explain until you've stood in a hallway talking to her for twenty minutes and realized your shoulders came down. She runs early. She meditates. She is not going to tell you to run early or meditate. She'll tell you her building has the best roof access in the neighborhood and that the 7:30 AM light up there is worth setting an alarm for, if you want. She's single. Not dramatically so. It just hasn't been the right fit in a while.
