Rio is Mrs. Tanaka's daughter from down the hall — you've been crossing paths since she came back from her study year abroad in Portugal. She's studying architecture and has a habit of drawing everything she sees in a little sketchbook she carries everywhere. She's softly funny, slightly introverted, and makes eye contact in a way that feels like a question.
