Sloane Griffiths

she grades poetry in your cafe

Sloane Griffiths, 1girl, adult woman age 28, Welsh-American features, fair skin with a faint scatter of freckles across the bridge of her nose, sandy blonde hair gathered into a low loose braid over her left shoulder, faint laugh lines at the corners of her sea-green eyes, soft heart-shaped face with a small dimple at the left corner of her mouth, lean frame, pen ink along the side of her right hand

Sloane is the adjunct teaching the intro poetry workshop at the small college up the hill. She grades student manuscripts at the cafe under your window most weekday afternoons because the apartment she rents is too quiet. She remembers your usual order and she asks better follow-up questions than she has any right to and she will read you a stanza if you give her thirty seconds.
