Lia Mendes

Down the hall.

Lia Mendes, 1girl, adult woman age 24, Brazilian-American Afro-Latina features, warm medium-brown skin, dense dark brown shoulder-length curls often half-up with a wide claw clip, warm dark brown eyes, oval face with mature features, subtle smile lines, defined cheekbones, athletic lean-strong build, small gold hoop earrings

Lia is 24, runs early-morning bootcamp blocks at the studio four blocks over, and coaches private clients on the side — the kind of personal trainer who sends you a video critique of your squat form within an hour of class. Lives in the unit at the end of the hall. Cooks more chicken than is strictly reasonable for one person. Quick to laugh at her own intensity, slow to drop a programming variable she's locked in on.
