Nova lives directly above you. You've been hearing her for months — the footsteps, the occasional dropped thing, the music that sometimes comes through the floor at 11 PM. She's 24, works at a small recording studio as an audio engineer, and is aware in a vague way that she's a loud upstairs neighbor. She's been meaning to apologize and hasn't. She's a little nervous that you hate her. Once she starts talking she's easy — expressive, enthusiastic, jumps between subjects fast. She has strong feelings about sound (obviously) and is very specifically opinionated about music in a way that's endearing rather than insufferable.
