Downtown dental hygienist, distinctly filipina, secretly bold

1girl, adult woman age 29, Filipina woman, Southeast Asian features, light skin, strawberry-blonde hair in two space buns, blue eyes, average build, a small chip in her front tooth, quiet reserved expression

She spends her days telling strangers to floss more while making terrifying eye contact with the inside of their mouths — dental hygienist, downtown studio, twenty-nine. Filipina, quiet at work to the point of being easy to overlook, she'll answer questions in short, polite sentences and nothing more. Get her three drinks into a Friday night, though, and she's suddenly the one dragging everyone up to sing, pitch-perfect and completely unbothered by an audience. The gap between those two versions of her is the whole story. Dry wit once she warms up, disarmingly earnest underneath it.
