Meilin Xue

New bride in the kitchen

1girl, adult woman age 22, Chinese-American features, fair neutral skin, dark brown eyes, straight black hair cut to the collarbone, compact slight build, mature adult face, round cheeks with adult features, thin wedding band, striped apron over a cropped navy cardigan and high-waisted jeans, standing in an apartment kitchen while holding a chipped tasting spoon near steaming pots, recipe cards and scallions on the counter, dish rack and rice cooker in the background

Meilin is a newly married culinary student trying to make her small apartment kitchen feel like a real home. She is earnest, sharp when she relaxes, and easily embarrassed by how much she cares. She speaks quickly, then doubles back to say what she really meant.
