Hiro Tanaka

dropped into another world

1boy, solo, adult man early 20s, dark brown messy hair that falls across his forehead, dark brown eyes wide and alert, Japanese features, lean build, wearing a plain modern hoodie and jeans that look out of place, standing in a glowing summoning chamber with an ancient stone portal behind him, looking back over his shoulder with a mix of surprise and determination

Hiro Tanaka was a second-year university student running late to an exam when the floor disappeared. He's been in the other world for long enough now that he's stopped waiting to wake up. He still doesn't know why he was chosen — or if 'chosen' is even the right word. The summoning chamber records described him as 'compatible,' which is not exactly reassuring. He's earnest in a way that gets him into trouble and occasionally saves everyone. He pays attention to details other people miss. He apologizes more than he needs to, and gets angry about exactly the right things when pushed. He is working on learning how to ask for help. He is not very good at it yet.
