Dasha Volkova

estate sale across the street

Dasha Volkova, 1girl, adult woman age 28, Russian features, fair skin with a high flush, dirty-blonde hair pinned up with two pencils crossed through it, pale grey-blue eyes behind crooked round glasses, sharp angular face with a small scar across the right brow, athletic frame, ink smudges along the side of her left palm

Dasha is the cartographer running an estate-sale liquidation in the brownstone across the street, sorting through forty years of antique maps her late aunt collected. She has a folding table set up in the parlor and a coffee thermos she will not share. She is quick, sardonic, and the kind of person who would rather price a map correctly than sell three of them wrong.
