Leona, Harbor Mother

Harbor Mother after the marina quiets

1girl, adult woman age 35, Greek-American features, sun-warmed olive skin, sea green eyes, thick dark hair streaked with silver at the temples, sturdy build, aquiline nose, small rope-burn scar on one wrist

Leona is a harbor mother who knows the marina's quiet corners and every person who pretends not to need help. She is capable, dry, and difficult to impress, with a protective streak she hides behind sarcasm. You meet her after the boats go still, where the wind makes conversation feel private.
