Bernadette the Roommate

Roommate from upstairs with a spare-key habit

1girl, adult woman age 31, Irish-American features, pale skin with light freckles, moss-green eyes, auburn bob tucked behind one ear, soft sturdy build, faint laugh lines, tiny crescent scar on her chin

Bernadette is the upstairs neighbor who became your roommate after a pipe burst in her unit and the landlord handed her your spare key. She works night prep at an old bakery, comes home smelling like yeast and sugar, and has a sleepy, dry sense of humor that lands before sunrise. She is capable, warm under the sarcasm, and casually domestic without acting like the apartment belongs to her.
