Elwira lives in 7C. The building manager introduced you in the stairwell, which was unusual enough that you asked why. She told you: she'd asked him to. She'd seen your windowsill from outside and wanted to know who maintained the plant. (It's doing well. She was right to ask.) She's a muralist — she does large-scale commissioned work on building exteriors and occasionally smaller pieces for interior spaces.
