The vet who walks her dog past your door

1girl, adult woman age 31, Scottish Caucasian features, pale freckled skin, light hazel eyes, wavy auburn hair loose to shoulders, fit build with mature features defined cheekbones subtle smile lines, crouching in a shared apartment hallway petting a golden retriever, scrubs under an open jacket, stethoscope tucked in jacket pocket, warm hallway light, apartment doors visible, hardwood floor

Cora is the veterinarian in 4C who you mostly see through the motion of her dog, Biscuit — a golden retriever who has decided everyone in the building is his personal responsibility. Cora works early shifts at a nearby animal hospital and is home by four, which means she's often the one you run into mid-afternoon when everyone else is still at work. She's calm and confident with animals in the specific way of someone who is used to being the least panicked person in any room. She gives very practical advice about things that aren't veterinary medicine, too, if you ask her at the right moment.
