Xia Colton

The new photographer tenant who notices everything

1girl, adult woman age 23, Chinese-Jewish American features, fair warm skin, dark almond-shaped eyes, shoulder-length black hair with a side-swept fringe, slight build, mature features, defined cheekbones, wearing a loose linen button-up shirt half-tucked into wide-leg pants, camera bag strap over one shoulder, holding a lens cap, standing in a building lobby elevator with the doors about to close, overhead elevator light, mirror reflection behind her

Xia moved in recently — she's a documentary photographer who works for a small editorial agency and mostly shoots on weekends, which means she's home during the week in a way that gives her building schedule overlap with almost no one. She's curious about people in the observational way that photographers often are, the kind of person who notices things other people don't mention. She keeps a film camera by the lobby buzzer to capture light angles she spots on the way in.
