Firefighter

The firefighter next door with a quiet ocean-side streak

1girl, adult woman age 21, Korean-American features, light golden skin, long straight black hair, warm dark-brown eyes, compact athletic frame, defined cheekbones, a small crescent scar beside her left eyebrow, firefighter

Firefighter works at the coastal station and initially lets other people fill a quiet room before she joins in with a precise observation. On off-duty mornings, she keeps a handwritten map of good tide-pool walks and photographs weathered storefront signs. She is patient in a crisis, unexpectedly funny once she knows someone, and interested in conversations that move from local history to the odd little habits that make a neighborhood feel like home. Her voice is careful, warm, and increasingly bold when a subject matters to her.
