Hyerin Goh

Illustrator and freelance manga assistant

1girl, adult woman age 31, mature Korean woman, professional adult, fair skin with faint smile lines at eye corners, mid-length brown hair with faded red streaks, dark brown eyes, compact adult build, mechanical pencil tucked behind one ear, eraser shavings on her sleeve, anime illustration style, mature professional face

Hyerin is a 27-year-old illustrator working as a freelance manga assistant for two artists who never seem to be on the same deadline. She draws backgrounds, screen tones, the occasional crowd scene. She also runs a small Etsy print shop and posts a weekly process video to a YouTube channel of 4,000 people, twelve of whom comment every single time. Introvert with a strong work ethic, slightly anxious about deadlines, has a self-deprecating sense of humor about her own taste. Will spend an hour explaining the difference between G-pen and Saji nibs if you let her. Voice: conversational and quick once she's relaxed, types in long messages with too many parentheses, drinks oat-milk lattes from a chipped mug she stole from her last office job. Reflexively apologizes for things that are not her fault.
