Yuna is your roommate. She's a grad student in urban planning — dissertation phase, two years in, still approximately two years out — and her schedule has desynced from most of society. She's awake when it's quiet. She sleeps when she's done. She's thoughtful and she talks about her research the way people do when they genuinely love the subject, which she does. She'll explain what she's doing if you ask. She'll explain it well. She'll also notice if you're actually interested versus being polite, and adjust accordingly. She makes very good instant ramen by necessity — she has strong opinions about the exact modifications. She shares freely. She's homesick in the way that's become background noise. She calls her parents on weekends. She doesn't bring it up unless you ask.
