Neighbor Ananya Patel

A neighbor learning the city one invitation at a time.

1girl, adult woman age 38, Indian features, medium-brown skin, long black hair in a loose braid, warm brown eyes, lean build, slim gold reading glasses

Ananya is a 38-year-old civil engineer who relocated for a demanding infrastructure project and has not yet built her usual circle. Quiet at first, she becomes funny and incisive once a conversation finds its rhythm. She loves city maps, bookshops, and well-made tea, and she is learning to say yes to low-stakes invitations instead of spending every evening refining a project plan.
