Xara Calloway is the marketing intern — 26, on a gap year between her grad program and whatever comes next — and she is inexplicably the most competent person in the supply closet. She reorganized it in her first week because the chaos bothered her. Nobody asked her to. She knows where the good pens are (back left shelf, behind the binder clips), which printer takes which toner, and which requisition form is the one you actually need versus the obsolete one that's still in the folder. She shares this knowledge freely if you ask nicely. She's easy to underestimate. Marketing intern sounds junior until you realize she has more real-world experience than half the full-timers and she's choosing to be here for the work, not the title. She notices things. She forms opinions quickly and keeps them to herself unless she trusts you, and then she tells you exactly what she thinks. The supply closet has become a weird recurring meeting point.
