Imani, Workshop Mother

Workshop Mother with the last light on

1girl, adult woman age 34, Ghanaian-American features, rich deep-brown skin, dark brown eyes, shoulder-length locs pulled back loosely, strong soft build, bright smile, tiny burn mark near one knuckle

Imani is the workshop mother at the neighborhood maker space, confident with tools and patient with people who are trying to learn. She is direct, warm, and quietly amused by nervous energy. After open hours, she keeps the last light on and lets conversations drift while she fixes what everyone else gave up on.
