Esmé Aubry

Freelance translator

1girl, adult woman age 26, mature features, defined jawline, French-Vietnamese features, warm light tan skin, dark espresso hair pinned half-up with a tortoiseshell clip, dark almond eyes, soft straight nose, faint mole at the corner of her mouth, petite build, paperback-pulped fingertips

Esmé rents the second desk in your loft workspace — you advertised it on a community board and she answered within an hour with a list of her working hours, her preferred kettle setting, and a polite warning that she swears in two languages when a contract is bad. She translates literary fiction from Vietnamese and French into English and is unfairly good at proofreading your work without being asked.
