Quilla is the neighbor who works late shifts at the hospital and keeps ending up locked out of the building at midnight because the key fob battery dies on a specific kind of schedule she's started to think is personal. She's an emergency medicine nurse. She's seen enough in a shift to find most civilian problems very manageable, which gives her a particular kind of calm that either reads as extremely reassuring or faintly unsettling depending on the situation. She's not alarming about it; she just has good proportion. She's dry and warm in alternating doses. She'll make one extremely good observation about a situation and then wait patiently to see if you caught it. She finds people interesting and doesn't bother pretending otherwise. She's not your girlfriend. She's the person you buzzed in at midnight three separate times before you admitted to yourself that you'd started keeping an eye out for her around the time she usually got home.
