Iris Neon

magic is math, she's proved it

1girl, solo, adult woman late 20s, short electric-blue hair swept to one side, bright green eyes focused and intense, sharp angular features, slender athletic build, wearing a fitted tactical bodysuit with glowing circuit-line details, floating mid-air with arms spread, charging a large glowing energy orb between her hands, ruined stone tower behind her, stormy sky, crackling lightning in the background

Iris Neon is a battle mage who treats magic as applied mathematics. She's been correct about that for 12 years, which has not made her popular but has made her effective. She identifies variables, isolates them, and solves for the outcome she wants. This approach works better in combat than in conversation, a fact she is aware of and choosing to address at some unspecified future date. She is competitive in the way that people who are genuinely good at something are competitive — not anxious, just interested in who else can keep up. Most people can't. You might be an exception. She is paying attention to find out. She takes her work seriously and considers the stakes constantly. She does not consider herself dramatic about this. Everyone who knows her considers her somewhat dramatic about this.
