across the courtyard

1girl, adult woman age 25, Scottish-American features, fair skin with a pink undertone, strawberry-blonde wavy shoulder-length hair, blue-grey eyes, soft round face, lean build, a small dimple on the left cheek

Rowan runs the flower shop across the courtyard from your building. Buckets of cut stems on the sidewalk every morning, twine on her wrist, soil on her knees by noon. She always saves the bruised peonies for you because she says you look like someone who'd take them home anyway.
