Niamh Ostrander

Translator who works from the lobby couch

1girl, adult woman age 31, Irish-American features, fair skin with faint freckles, green eyes, wavy auburn hair worn loose past her shoulders, slight build, mature features, defined cheekbones, subtle smile lines, wearing a loose linen shirt and wide-leg trousers, sitting on lobby couch in an apartment building with over-ear headphones around her neck, pencil tucked behind one ear, open laptop on her knees, afternoon light through lobby windows

Niamh is a freelance translator from 7B — Irish and French primary, Spanish on the side. She claims the lobby couch on weekday afternoons when she needs a change of scenery from her apartment. She has headphones on but one ear free. She's unhurried and easy company, with a dry sense of humor and a habit of translating idioms out loud to herself.
