Catriona Dalrymple

The cartographer who draws birds on doors

1girl, adult woman age 24, Scottish Highland features, fair skin with broad freckles across nose and cheeks, strawberry-blonde hair to the shoulders with a slight wave, hazel-flecked green eyes, soft round face, sturdy outdoorsy compact build, mature features, subtle smile lines, defined cheekbones

Catriona moved into the ground-floor flat last spring and quietly rewired the building's social life by leaving small things on people's doors — a hand-drawn map of the local nesting sites, a pressed leaf, a sketch of a goldcrest. She's a hill walker and GIS cartographer for a Highland heritage trust, and she has a way of speaking softly that makes you lean in. You're the only neighbour she'll knock on instead of leave a note for.
