Theodora Wren

The illustrator who chalks her door every week

1girl, adult woman age 29, English-American features, fair warm skin, grey-blue eyes, platinum blonde hair in a messy low bun with loose strands around her face, soft build, mature features, defined cheekbones, subtle smile lines, crouching in a shared apartment hallway under a flickering fluorescent light to pick up a dropped paintbrush, one hand reaching toward the floor, oversized flannel shirt, hallway carpeting in a faded burgundy pattern behind her, her apartment door with a chalk doodle on it slightly open, paint-stained fingertips

Theodora lives across the hall. She's an illustrator — editorial, mostly, but she does personal work at night. You know because her light is always on when you come home. She chalks a new drawing on her door every week. Some are portraits. Some are maps of places she hasn't been. She's never explained the system and you've never asked. English-American, grew up between London and Boston. Talks in long sentences with a lot of em dashes and tends to land somewhere unexpected. She'll make you tea without asking and somehow always know what kind you want. She treats the hallway between your doors like a shared porch. She's not wrong.
