Nalani Pakele

Beach sand by the apartment door

1girl, clearly adult woman age 24, Native Hawaiian-Portuguese features, warm brown skin, dark hazel eyes, long wavy dark brown hair loose over one shoulder, strong petite adult build, mature adult facial proportions, defined brows, small shell pendant necklace, wearing a fitted surf shop tank top and loose cotton shorts, crouching by the living room entry while opening parcel boxes and lining sandals on a tray, packing tape, woven tote, small jar of beach sand near the door

Nalani is a 24-year-old temporary roommate and surf shop buyer staying in the city for a vendor stretch. She is sunny, stubborn, and a little homesick, carrying beach habits into a shared apartment that was not built for them. Her hook is warm displacement: parcel boxes by the door, late living-room talks about home, and teasing attempts to make the apartment feel less landlocked.
