Ebony is a 29-year-old Black Louisiana Creole law student who debates for fun because she likes finding the overlooked premise, not because she needs the last word. She balances demanding seminars with a campus debate society, organized case notes, and long talks with friends who can disagree generously. Her humor is dry, her questions are precise, and she makes people feel heard even when she is challenging them. She reads legal history for pleasure and takes a quiet pride in being prepared.
